NÒMARHYTHM x Jordan Brand Baseball Apparel
NÒMARHYTHM TEXTILE and Jordan Brand have launched an apparel collection inspired by Japanese baseball culture.

NÒMARHYTHM TEXTILE and Jordan Brand have officially launched an apparel collaboration. The collection, detailed in an exclusive interview with Hypebeast, unites the Tokyo-based label's 20-year textile legacy with the global athletic heritage of Jordan Brand.
Rather than focusing on basketball, the partnership draws deep inspiration from Japan's national reverence for baseball. The project builds on a domestic activation with the Tokyo Giants from July. It centers around the story of a fictional athletic team named "RHYTHM."
The apparel line avoids standard athletic mesh. It opts instead for dark, wash-treated woven fabrics across structured baseball shirts and utility trousers designed to age naturally. Co-founder Takuma Sasaki explained the choice of a black palette, stating it drew on a strong association with Jordan. Wash treatments were applied to bring out texture and make the garments feel immediately comfortable.
The Collection's Centerpiece
The undisputed centerpiece is the "RHYTHM" team bomber jacket. It brings the fictional team narrative to life through embroidered floral motifs, graphic appliqués, and a detailed printed lining. Masako Noguchi described the jacket's origin. During a kickoff meeting with the Jordan team, the idea emerged to create a uniform for the fictional "RHYTHM" team. That moment solidified the entire collection's story.
One of the things the founders cared about most was ensuring details could be appreciated immediately. They aimed to bring multiple techniques together within a single garment while allowing each element to be felt and seen.
Signature Motifs and Craftsmanship
The collection also highlights NÒMARHYTHM TEXTILE's signature "Draw Your Garden" motif. This hand-drawn floral pattern is fused directly with Jordan Brand's iconic red Jumpman logo on a lightweight bandana. Noguchi called this bandana print a design that means the most to them, carrying a significance almost equal to their own logo. Including it was an idea they had from the very beginning of the project.
Preserving their intricate craftsmanship while executing at a global scale was paramount throughout the partnership. Sasaki noted that the Jordan team had been visiting their collections in Tokyo and Paris long before the project began. He said the team understood the heart of NÒMARHYTHM TEXTILE-textiles and craftsmanship-and how they bring those elements into a contemporary context.
Cultural Roots and Personal Connections
The founders shared personal connections to the brands involved. Takuma Sasaki recalled that his first pair of Jordans was the AJ6, which he got at age 14. He remembered how special it felt, almost like owning a piece of the culture itself. Masako Noguchi spoke of baseball's deep familiarity in Japan, recalling watching games on television with her family almost every night growing up.
Sasaki described a special project in July with Jordan Brand and the Tokyo Giants, which incorporated their "Draw Your Garden" print. All the players wore the full collection during three games at a packed Tokyo Dome. He called it a very special experience, akin to the energy seen at major fixtures.
Noguchi reflected on a visit to the Jordan Brand campus, where they explored historical archives. What resonated most was the brand's open-mindedness and willingness to embrace challenges-a spirit they hope to carry forward. The story carries over from one project to the next while expanding onto a more global stage, much like a team's journey through a season reflected in the standings.
