Corrections

At carryandwear, we correct errors rather than delete them. When a substantive error is found in an article, we will amend the text and add a correction note at the foot of the page. This note will state what was corrected and the date of the change. This process maintains a transparent record and ensures the archive remains a useful reference.

A substantive correction is made for an error of fact that changes the understanding of the object or its value. This includes incorrect specifications, materials, historical details, or value assessments. Minor typographical errors, grammatical fixes, or formatting adjustments are made without a published note, as they do not alter the factual content.

Readers can report a suspected error by contacting us. To investigate efficiently, please provide the full article address and quote the exact claim you believe to be incorrect. We will review the information against our source material and update the article if an error is verified.

We aim to process all substantive correction requests within five working days. You will receive an acknowledgement of your submission. If a correction is made, the note will appear on the relevant article accordingly.

The facts on a reference page are also subject to correction when the world changes. For instance, if a manufacturer discontinues a model or a market shift significantly alters an item's typical resale value, we will update the page. Such updates, reflecting new factual realities, are treated as corrections and will be noted with the date of the change to maintain accuracy over time.
