Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin
Vacheron Constantin marks the Overseas collection's 30th anniversary with a 200-piece limited edition Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin in white gold

Vacheron Constantin has released a 200-piece limited edition Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin in white gold. The launch celebrates the 30th anniversary of the brand's Overseas collection, a line of luxury sports watches first introduced in 1996.
Design and construction
The watch features a 41.5mm white gold case with an ultra-slim profile of just 8.1mm. Its bezel is redesigned with six notches and rests on a round plinth. The dial is a new, lighter shade of azure blue lacquer with a sunburst finish, a color meant to evoke open skies and distant horizons. Multiple lacquer layers give the dial a visual depth that shifts with the light. This new shade is less saturated than the deeper azure blue the brand first added to its repertoire in 2016.
Bracelet and straps
The timepiece comes with three interchangeable strap options. The primary option is an integrated white gold bracelet with the brand's signature half-Maltese-cross links. It features short, articulated, and tapering links with alternating satin-brushed and mirror-polished bevelled edges. The clasp includes a micro-adjustment system offering 2mm of adjustment per side. The package also includes two additional rubber straps, one in white and one in denim blue, each fitted with an interchangeable white gold pin buckle.
Dial and calendar functions
The azure dial displays its perpetual calendar information across three recessed, snailed sub-dials with white gold pointer hands and white inscriptions. The layout is as follows:
| Position | Display | Details |
|---|---|---|
| 12 o'clock | 48-month cycle | Compressed into 4-month blocks, with leap years highlighted in light blue |
| 3 o'clock | Date | - |
| 9 o'clock | Day of the week | - |
| 6 o'clock | Moon phase | An 18k white gold moon against an azure sky with engraved stars |
A peripheral minutes track features light blue Arabic numerals. The applied white gold indices and hour and minute hands are treated with Super-LumiNova that emits a blue glow in the dark, matching the blue moonphase disc for visual harmony.
Movement and technical specs
Powering the watch is the self-winding manufacture Calibre 1120 QP/1, developed and made by Vacheron Constantin. The movement is 4.05mm thick and contains 276 components. It beats at 2.75Hz and provides a 40-hour power reserve. This ultra-thin caliber automatically handles months with 28, 30, and 31 days and accounts for leap years until the year 2100. It is certified with the Hallmark of Geneva and is decorated with Côtes de Genève, mirror-polished chamfers, perlage, solarised wheels, and micro-polished screw heads. The solid 22k gold rotor is engraved with a compass rose and is visible through a screw-in case back with a sapphire lens. The watch has a standard push-pull crown and a water resistance rating of 50 meters. This technical shows is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide.
