Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty Three Gold Bridges Adds Permanent Model
Girard-Perregaux has expanded its Laureato collection with a non-limited version of the Fifty Three Gold Bridges watch.

Girard-Perregaux has introduced a new, permanent model of its Laureato Fifty Three Gold Bridges watch. The timepiece, priced at EUR 178,000, is a non-limited addition to the collection, featuring increased water resistance and a dial warmed with rose gold accents.
The original design recipe remains intact. Key updates include a boost in water resistance from 30 meters to 50 meters. This provides the historic skeletonized tourbillon with greater everyday robustness. The dial's new warmth comes from rose gold accents set against the signature three-bridge architecture.
Technical specifications and movement details
The watch features a 41mm stainless steel case with a rose gold octagonal bezel and white gold accents. Its heart is the in-house GP9620 manufacture caliber, a self-winding tourbillon movement developed specifically for this model.
The skeletonized dial reveals the barrel, gear train, and a lyre-shaped titanium tourbillon cage at six o'clock. Three rose gold bridges are set against the movement's polished bevels and satin-finished surfaces. A platinum micro-rotor provides automatic winding without obstructing the view.
Finishing is exhaustive. The movement features 418 hand-polished angles, including 362 inward angles. It offers a power reserve of at least 55 hours. The watch is assembled from start to finish by a single master watchmaker.

Heritage and collection context
This model continues a legacy that spans nearly 160 years. The Three Bridges design originated in 1867 when Constant Girard made the movement’s functional bridges part of the watch’s overall styling. The concept evolved over decades to become one of Girard-Perregaux’s signatures.
The Laureato collection, launched in 1975, provides the integrated bracelet silhouette. This watch connects that modern sports watch DNA with the brand's most celebrated technical heritage. It is the fourth new in-house caliber introduced by Girard-Perregaux in a recent twelve-month period.
The integrated steel bracelet includes a comfort release system allowing for up to 4mm of tool-free micro-adjustment. The dial features applied markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova. The watch will be available as part of the permanent collection starting in 2027, coinciding with Girard-Perregaux's 160th anniversary celebrations.
