Frederique Constant Burgundy Perpetual Calendar Limited to 100 Pieces
Frederique Constant has launched a US-exclusive burgundy perpetual calendar watch, limited to 100 pieces and priced at $12,995. The timepiece features a 40mm steel case, a 72-hour power reserve, and comes with two alligator straps.

Frederique Constant has released the Manufacture Classic Perpetual Calendar Burgundy Limited Edition, priced at $12,995 and restricted to just 100 pieces. This US-exclusive launch expands access to the brand's perpetual calendar complication without the premium of a gold case.
The watch presents a sunray-finished burgundy dial under an anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal. A chemin de fer minute track frames applied, faceted hour markers and polished nickel hands. The signature perpetual calendar layout displays the day at 9 o'clock and the date at 3 o'clock. Month and leap-year indications share a sub-dial at 12 o’clock, while a moonphase display at 6 o’clock features a midnight-blue sky dotted with laser-engraved stars. The three calendar subdials are decorated with a Côtes de Genève pattern.
Case, movement and technical specs
The complication is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case that is 12.1mm thick, with a fluted onion-shaped crown and 50 meters of water resistance. It is powered by the in-house automatic Caliber FC-776, the brand's 34th proprietary movement. A 2025 update to this caliber extended its power reserve to 72 hours, achieved through a redesigned barrel and a newly developed mainspring alloy. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and contains 26 jewels.
Through the sapphire caseback, the decoration is visible: perlage on the bridges and fan-shaped Côtes de Genève on the automatic winding bridge. The 5N gold-plated, partially skeletonized oscillating weight features satin-brushed and spiral finishing.

Straps, exclusivity and availability
The burgundy edition is strictly limited to 100 individually numbered pieces. It comes with two alligator leather straps: a primary black strap with a folding buckle and a secondary burgundy strap with an easy-open deployant clasp. The set also includes a watch winder. The timepiece debuted at WatchTime New York 2026, which was held from October 16 to 18 at Gotham Hall. It is available for purchase now.
Context and lineage
This release is the sixth iteration of Frederique Constant's redesigned Manufacture Perpetual Calendar in approximately eighteen months. It follows a previous 18k yellow gold limited edition of 37 pieces priced at $38,000. The perpetual calendar model was first introduced in 2016 and received a significant refinement in 2025, including the more refined 40mm case and the updated movement. Mark, an observer, noted the line "has been one of if not the premiere affordable mechanical perpetual calendar on the market."
The burgundy edition is available now.
