Casio introduces the CMK-100 Collection, its first automatic field watch series featuring lightweight titanium cases...

Casio has introduced its first automatic movement in over half a century. The new CMK-100 Collection is a lineup of five titanium-cased automatic field watches, with prices starting at EUR 299.

This move builds on the success of last year's Edifice EFK-100 Automatic, which itself broke a five-decade mechanical watch hiatus for the company. The CMK100 series now is Casio's first dedicated automatic collection, blending heritage field-watch aesthetics with modern, lightweight construction.

Titanium construction and specs

The CMK-100 Collection features a lightweight titanium case available in natural and ion-plated finishes. The case measures 38mm in diameter, with a thickness of 11.4mm and a lug-to-lug length of 44.7mm. Three models use a natural titanium finish, while two others are ion-plated in dark grey or rose gold.

All models receive a titanium carbide coating to enhance abrasion resistance. They offer 100-meter water resistance, a screwed caseback, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire crystal. The design includes a wide flat-top bezel, a knurled crown, and polished accents.

The dial is embossed with a strong grained texture and features baton markers and Arabic numerals with a 3D effect. Luminous material is applied to the markers and hands, which are pencil-style with a brushed finish. A date window on a white disc sits at the 3 o'clock position. Powering the watch is an undisclosed Japanese automatic movement, described as a 21-jewel caliber running at 3Hz with a 42-hour power reserve, widely speculated to be a Miyota 8215. The full titanium bracelet version weighs 98 grams, while models on straps weigh approximately 55 grams.

Strap options and pricing

Multiple strap configurations are offered across the five models, with pricing ranging from entry-level nylon to the full titanium bracelet option. The collection's pricing spans from EUR 299 for the black dial model on a nylon strap to EUR 399 for the bracelet version.

Availability and launch

The collection launches globally in November through authorised retailers and Casio's own channels. Availability includes select retailers, the brand's official website, and the G-SHOCK Soho Store. Casio America announced the series on October 29, 2026.

Shermeen Greenmun, Vice President of Timepiece at Casio America, described the watch as a modern classic field watch. She said it was engineered with lightweight titanium, exceptional comfort, and everyday practical functionality, which she stated is exactly what clients expect from Casio. The collection will be available starting in November from authorised retailers and Casio's online channels.
