Lebois & Co Revives Heritage Small Seconds Collection

The Lebois & Co Heritage Small Seconds collection has returned. Priced at EUR 2,650, the series revives a line originally founded in 1934, blending vintage elegance with modern precision engineering for delivery in early summer 2027. The revival was spearheaded by Tom van Wijlick in 2014, setting the stage for this contemporary reinterpretation.
The collection presents three distinct dial executions, each drawing inspiration from historical Lebois timepieces. All models share a refined stainless steel case measuring 37.8mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug distance of 45.5mm and a thickness of 10.5mm. The case features brushed surfaces with polished accents on the bezel and lugs, a screw-in case back, and 50 meters of water resistance. A double-domed sapphire crystal with an antireflective coating protects each dial.
Technical Excellence in Design
At the heart of each watch is the automatic LC-350 caliber. This movement is based on a Sellita SW300 architecture and carries official COSC chronometer certification. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, incorporates 31 jewels, and delivers a 56-hour power reserve. This technical foundation ensures the heritage aesthetic is matched by contemporary reliability.
Every model comes fitted with a leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle. Early adopters will also receive a complimentary Fixoflex stretch bracelet. The watches feature 20mm lug spacing.
Distinctive Dial Personalities
The three variants are defined by their unique dial designs, offering different stylistic personalities from dressy to sporty. Each references a specific historical piece.
| Model Reference | Dial Name | Dial Color & Finish | Key Design Features | Historical Inspiration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 641.480 | Baton | Sunray-brushed blue | Applied baton markers, Arabic numerals at cardinal positions, railway-style minutes track | 1930s Lebois pieces |
| 641.807 | Script | Matte vintage-white (opaline) | Applied Breguet-style script numerals | A 2018 Monaco auction chronograph |
| 641.500 | Numeral | Matte black | Printed Arabic numerals, railroad-style track marking 5-minute intervals, azurage small-seconds register | A watch from a 2012 Christie’s auction |
The Script dial is considered the dressiest option, while the Baton and Numeral models offer more versatile, classic looks. All three retail for the same price of EUR 2,650 including VAT.
