URWERK has unveiled the UR-1001 Amadeus, a one-of-a-kind titanium pocket watch that blends technical complexity with a baroque-inspired aesthetic. The case measures 106mm by 62mm and is 23mm thick. Every surface of the titanium case has been hand-engraved for over 500 hours by Bavarian master engraver Florian Güllert, producing arabesques and reliefs that blur the line between decoration and structure. The watch is named “Amadeus” in tribute to the extravagant spirit of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, according to co-founder Felix Baumgartner.
