Ming and Massena Lab unveil limited 57.09 Secret Honey watch
Ming and Massena Lab introduce the 57.09 Secret Honey, a 125-piece limited edition watch with a dynamic guilloché dial.

Ming and Massena Lab have unveiled the 57.09 Secret Honey, a technically detailed limited edition watch. The timepiece is limited to 125 pieces and carries a price of 7,250 CHF.
The watch's defining feature is its multi-layered dial. A dark brown lacquered base sits beneath three rotating sapphire discs. Each disc is perforated with a different pattern and rotates at its own rate: once every 24 hours, 12 hours, and 60 minutes. As they turn, the overlapping apertures create a continuously shifting visual effect. MING calls this "dynamic guilloché."
Luminous treatments add depth. The bottom two discs feature coatings of orange-emitting Super-LumiNova and MING's proprietary Polar White. The top disc is darker and non-luminous. Hour and minute indications on the 12-hour and 60-minute discs glow honey-colored. Indices and brand logos are engraved into the underside of the box-style sapphire crystal and filled with Polar White, creating a secondary luminous layer.
Case, lugs, and construction details
The watch uses a 40mm Grade 5 titanium case from MING’s fifth-generation architecture. It measures 10.17mm thick with a 47.8mm lug-to-lug distance. A polished, concave bezel and front and back sapphire crystals complete the case.
Construction focuses on the lugs. Each triple-stepped lug is assembled from nine individual components and finished in a tri-tone scheme. The outermost step is natural titanium. The middle step is coated in TiN for a yellow-gold reference. The innermost step uses TiSiN for a rose-gold tone. Thin bands of these coatings also appear on the caseband.
Movement, straps, and availability
Power comes from the automatic Sellita for MING 330.M2 movement. It has skeletonized, anthracite-coated bridges visible through the caseback. The movement operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and provides a 50-hour power reserve. It is not chronometer certified. The watch offers 100 meters of water resistance.
Two straps are included. One is a vachetta-coloured goat leather strap by Jean Rousseau Paris for MING. The other is a black FKM rubber strap. Both use MING’s flying-blade tuck buckle with micro-adjustment.
The watch will be available exclusively on MING’s website. Orders open on October 15, 2026, at 9 AM EST.
Collaboration history and edition size
This release is a sequel. Ming and Massena LAB first collaborated in 2021 on the 17.09 Honey and 17.09 Black watches. The new 57.09 Secret Honey continues their partnership. Both brands are now fellow members of the Alternative Horological Alliance, a group that also includes Fears, Fleming and Shapiro.
Presentation and public debut
Following the online launch, the watch will be presented to the public at WatchTime New York. The event runs from October 16 to 18, 2026. Orders open exclusively through MING on October 15, 2026.
