Zenith Chronomaster Solo Sport Debuts
Zenith unveils the Chronomaster Solo Sport collection at Geneva Watch Days 2026. The design replaces the iconic chronograph subdials with a three-hand layout and a 45-degree 'Z' motif pattern ceramic dial. Offered in sunray white, polished black, or polished brown, the new watch is paired with a new ZENCLASP bracelet system.
Zenith has introduced the Chronomaster Solo Sport, a new three-hand watch collection, at the Geneva Watch Days 2026 event. The launch marks a significant shift for the brand's historic El Primero line, moving away from its signature chronograph layout.
The design replaces the familiar chronograph subdials with a cleaner, three-hand display. A unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel and dynamic crown protectors frame the 40mm stainless steel case. Zenith states the watch is engineered for an active lifestyle, featuring a screw-down crown that provides 20 ATM of water resistance.
The Ceramic Dial and Design
The visual focus is a ceramic dial, available in sunray white, polished black, or polished brown finishes. It is engraved with a repeated 45-degree 'Z' motif. According to Zenith, this pattern is designed to represent the rhythm and vibration of the high-frequency movement inside. The dial features a historical 'shark tooth' minute track, Super-LumiNova SLN C1 faceted indices, and a central seconds hand with a star-shaped counterweight.
Movement and Technical Specifications
Powering the watch is the in-house El Primero 3620 automatic caliber. This movement is derived from the El Primero 3600 and operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. It incorporates a silicon escapement, a stop-seconds mechanism, and a new star-shaped openworked rotor. The movement offers a power reserve of 60 hours.
The New ZENCLASP Bracelet System
The watch is fitted on a three-link stainless steel bracelet. It use Zenith's newly developed ZENCLASP folding clasp. The brand describes the clasp as an ergonomic system composed of 41 components and 10 ceramic locking balls that offers maximum security. It includes a tool-free micro-adjustment mechanism that allows for adjustments in 2.5mm increments, up to a total of 10mm.
