A. Lange & Söhne has introduced two new limited edition watches at the Concours of Elegance 2026. The 1815 UP/DOWN arrives in white or pink gold with a blue dial, limited to 300 pieces per metal. The platinum Triple Split, limited to 100 pieces, features a rhodié dial with grey counters.
A. Lange & Söhne has presented two new limited edition watches. The Saxon manufacture debuted a refreshed 1815 UP/DOWN and a new platinum Triple Split chronograph at the Concours of Elegance 2026.
The new releases emphasize the brand's approach to blending traditional Glashütte design with technical watchmaking. The focus is on refined color variations for both a classic dress watch and a highly complex chronograph.
The 1815 UP/DOWN in Blue
The 1815 UP/DOWN receives a notable update with deep blue dials. This model is rooted in the heritage of Ferdinand Adolph Lange's historic pocket watches. Its design centers on a power-reserve display positioned opposite a small seconds sub-dial.
The watch is housed in a 37.5mm case that is 8.7mm thick. It is powered by the manually wound L051.2 manufacture calibre. This movement integrates the power-reserve indicators via a planetary gear system, saving space compared to an added module.
The new versions are offered in two precious metals, each with a strict production limit.

The Platinum Triple Split Chronograph
Alongside the 1815, the brand unveiled a new iteration of its Triple Split chronograph. Since its 2018 debut, the Triple Split has been the only mechanical chronograph capable of measuring comparative and intermediate times for up to 12 hours. It extends split-seconds rattrapante functionality to the minute and hour counters, not only the central seconds hand. This allows for complex additive timing, such as during endurance events. The watch also includes a flyback function.
This latest version is crafted in a 43.2mm case made from 950 platinum. Its dial is a cool rhodié color, offset by dark grey auxiliary sub-dials. The main hands are luminous, while the rattrapante hands are blued. The watch comes on a dark brown alligator leather strap with a platinum deployant buckle. Production is capped at just 100 pieces.
Movement and Finishing
The hand-wound manufacture calibre L132.1 drives the Triple Split. This mechanical masterpiece consists of 567 careful finished components. It is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback.
The movement shows untreated German silver bridges with Glashütte ribbing. It features a hand-engraved balance cock and five gold chatons. A patented disengagement mechanism is also included. This system reportedly eliminates friction loss when the rattrapante hands are stopped.
