Breitling Honors Miles Davis With Limited Navitimer B09
Breitling launches a 500-piece Navitimer chronograph and a 50-piece platinum box set to mark the jazz legend's 100th birthday.

Breitling has unveiled the Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis, a limited edition of 500 watches celebrating the centennial of the jazz icon's birth. The design is directly inspired by the mid-1960s Navitimer ref. 806 Mk5 that Davis famously wore.
Design and Styling
The watch features a 41mm stainless steel case and a monochrome black-and-white reverse-panda dial. Era-correct details include Twin Jet badging, old radium Super-LumiNova, and a bidirectional slide-rule bezel. It is offered on a hand-colored gradient brown calfskin leather strap or a newly revived stainless steel Air Racer bracelet.
Movement and Specifications
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Breitling Manufacture Caliber B09. This COSC-certified movement features a column-wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch and provides a 70-hour power reserve. The manual-wind architecture pays homage to the pre-automatic chronograph era when Davis selected his original timepiece. An open sapphire crystal caseback is engraved with One of 500 and Miles Davis Centennial.
Availability and Membership
Each of the 500 owners will receive an exclusive two-year membership to the upcoming Breitling Social Club in Williamsburg, New York. This release is part of the brand's ongoing Navitimer Stories 2026 campaign.
The Collector's Set
For ultimate collectors, Breitling is introducing an ultra-exclusive Lifetime Club Member Set, limited to just 50 numbered editions. The set is housed in a custom presentation case designed to resemble a vintage trumpet box, complete with a blue record and a miniature red trumpet.
The three-watch set includes the stainless steel edition, an 18k yellow gold model, and a platinum version. The platinum iteration features a contrasting blue-and-white slide-rule layout. Buyers of this set receive a lifetime membership to the Breitling Social Club.

Breitling states this release honors the musical pioneer who helped transition the Navitimer from a cockpit instrument to a global style icon. The brand's tribute blends aviation chronograph heritage with cultural storytelling.
